Overview

Associate Attorney position with Nixon Peabody LLP, specializing in their Government Investigations and White-Collar Defense Practice Group.
This role is based in the firm's Washington, D.C. office.
Requires candidates to have 3-5 years of relevant legal experience.
Core responsibilities involve counseling, investigating, defending, and litigating all forms of government inquiries.
Work includes managing matters from the investigation and grand jury stages through trial, appeal, and collateral proceedings.
Provide services for civil investigative demands, subpoenas, or other information requests from federal/state prosecutors and investigative agencies.
Qualified candidates must possess strong writing, analytical, judgment, and communication skills.
A judicial clerkship is preferred.
Demonstrated written advocacy experience in the defense of government investigations, government enforcement litigation, and related complex civil fraud litigation is preferred.
Strong academic credentials are also preferred.
The anticipated annual salary range for this D.C. position is $250,000 to $300,000.
