Associate opening in the Government Investigations and White-Collar Defense Practice Group.
Position is located in the firm's Long Island, NY office.
The anticipated annual salary range for this role is $190,000 to $235,000.
Additional contingent compensation may be available, based on factors such as performance, geographic location, experience, education, and qualifications.
Requires 3-5 years of experience in government investigations, criminal defense, and/or civil litigation.
A federal clerkship is preferred.
Candidates should have demonstrated written advocacy experience in the defense of government investigations, government enforcement litigation, and related complex civil fraud litigation.
Essential skills include strong writing, analytical, judgment, and communication abilities, coupled with strong academic credentials and a commitment to client service.
The role involves a diverse array of matters, focusing on counseling, investigating, defending, and litigating all forms of government inquiry.
Representation covers all stages, from investigation and grand jury proceedings through trial, appeal, and collateral matters.
Responsibilities include providing comprehensive services to individuals and organizations responding to civil investigative demands, subpoenas, or information requests from federal or state prosecutors or investigative agencies.
