Overview

Global law firm with over 3,000 lawyers across 50 offices worldwide is hiring an IP Disputes Paralegal.
Requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of patent paralegal experience, or 9+ years of relevant experience if no Bachelor's degree.
The role supports IP lawyers in disputes and litigation, requiring direct experience with arbitration and trial preparation/attendance.
Manage all phases of IP litigation cases, including motion practice, discovery, trial, appellate procedures, and alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
Key responsibilities include assisting with trial preparation, managing extensive document files, e-filing motions/pleadings (potentially after-hours), and ensuring thorough understanding of court rules.
Conduct substantive online research, gather patent documents from USPTO databases, research technical references, and understand technical papers (patents, copyrights, trademark secrets).
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat, possess strong communication skills, and effectively prioritize multiple assignments and manage large portfolios under tight deadlines, including potential overtime.
