Overview

  • Seeking an Associate or Counsel for the Financial & Fintech Advisory team.
  • Position is available in Washington, D.C. or New York.
  • Requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant transactional legal experience, preferably from a law firm, with in-house experience considered.
  • Must be admitted to the State Bar in the desired location (DC or NY).
  • Advise clients in the financial services sector on innovative transactions, regulatory reform, and enforcement matters.
  • Transactional responsibilities include bank structuring partnerships, platform integrations, licensing arrangements, M&A, and strategic investments in mortgage, servicing, and financial servicing companies.
  • Additional transactional work covers pre-transaction due diligence, mortgage loan/servicing advance financings, purchases/sales of mortgage loans, MSRs, and receivables, joint ventures, and critical vendor agreements.
  • Expected annual salary range: $365,000 - $420,000, plus a discretionary merit bonus.
