Experience in employment litigation is required, specifically involving court appearances and depositions, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 law firm.
Ideal candidates will have federal clerkship experience and experience with single-plaintiff and class action lawsuits, including wage and hour matters and client counseling.
The role involves preferred drafting experience with summary judgment motions, other dispositive briefing, motions to compel arbitration, discovery requests/responses, oppositions to class certification motions (including declaration gathering), long-form wage and hour class/collective action settlement agreements, separation agreements, offer letters, arbitration agreements, and PIIAs.
Preferred experience also includes advising and counseling clients on employment law compliance for policies, handbooks, leaves/accommodations, employee performance/discipline, and hiring/terminations.
Conducting labor due diligence on M&A deals is highly preferred.
