Overview

  • The firm is seeking a Mid-level to Senior Associate for its Labor & Employment practice group in the Seattle office.
  • This role requires 4-7 years of dedicated employment law experience.
  • Candidates must possess strong academic credentials and excellent legal writing skills.
  • Significant employment litigation experience is required, including court appearances and depositions, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firm.
  • Preferred experience includes federal clerkship, single-plaintiff and class action lawsuits, particularly wage and hour matters.
  • The ability to lead matters, supervise junior associates, and manage client relationships is essential.
  • Preferred drafting experience covers dispositive motions (e.g., summary judgment), arbitration motions, discovery documents, class certification oppositions, and various employment agreements (settlement, separation, offer, arbitration, and PIIAs).
  • Preferred experience also includes advising clients on employment law compliance, such as policies, handbooks, leaves/accommodations, employee performance/discipline, hiring, and terminations.
  • Experience conducting labor due diligence for M&A transactions is highly preferred.
  • The annual compensation for this role ranges from $260,000 to $420,000, plus a discretionary bonus.
  • Benefits include a 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision insurance, paid holidays, and personal/parental leave.
  • This position offers a hybrid work arrangement.
