Serve as a Paralegal within the Commercial Litigation group, based in the Portland office.
Bachelor's degree and 7-10 years of paralegal experience are required, including mandatory Oregon trial experience.
Extensive experience with all phases of litigation case support: document/data preservation, collection, processing, review, production, and managing litigation support systems/databases.
Manage discovery, prepare for and schedule depositions, and coordinate pretrial and trial support for proceedings in Oregon and other states.
Conduct legal research, cite-check briefs, perform complex factual investigations, contribute to case strategy, and make relevancy determinations for case documents.
Prepare and forecast accurate case budgets, along with precise timekeeping and adherence to client billing requirements.
Provide formal and informal training, coaching, and mentorship to less-tenured paralegals and paralegal assistants.
Possess a solid understanding of litigation and civil procedure rules, including specific court and judge standing orders.
Required experience with automated litigation support software.
