Requires excellent communication, interpersonal, oral advocacy, research, writing, and analytical skills.
Significant experience litigating matters in New York State courts is essential.
Experience includes conducting discovery, drafting pleadings and motions, and conducting court appearances.
A working knowledge of the New York Civil Practice Law and Rules (CPLR) is required.
Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and exercise sound professional judgment in a busy commercial practice.
Candidates must possess strong organizational and matter management skills.
A Bachelor's degree and a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school are mandatory.
Active membership in the New York State Bar, in good standing, is required.
The expected salary range for this position is $310,000 to $365,000.
