This is a Senior Compliance Attorney role located in Nashville, Tennessee, within the Risk Management Department.
You will provide support and expertise on ethical issues, conflicts of interest, and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) for firm attorneys, business intake, and information security.
Serve as a subject matter expert for the onboarding of new clients, matters, and firm hires, guiding the Conflict and New Business department on firm policies.
Draft, review, and negotiate engagement terms, waiver letters, and firmwide contracts, including IT Master Services Agreements.
Oversee compliance with all contract terms and conditions.
Assist firm partners in negotiations with external clients and vendors regarding engagement terms.
Manage special projects assigned by the Office of General Counsel and Risk Management team.
Requires 5-7 years of legal experience, ideally gained in a law firm or in-house corporate environment.
A Juris Doctorate (JD) and an active law license in good standing in at least one U.S. state are mandatory.
Must have a strong understanding of the Model Rules of Professional Conduct and ethics rules specific to jurisdictions where the firm operates.
