Join the Data Center Development practice, based in the Kansas City office.
Represent developers, investors, hyperscale users, lenders, and other stakeholders in data center development projects across the U.S.
Requires 3+ years of experience in complex commercial real estate and development transactions.
Specific expertise should include site acquisition/disposition, ground leasing, title/survey review, land use/zoning, state and local permitting/entitlements, utility/interconnection agreements, construction contracts, and commercial leasing.
Experience with renewable energy, digital infrastructure, project finance, public-private partnerships, or other infrastructure projects is preferred.
Highly desirable experience includes coordinating environmental and engineering consultants and advising clients through permitting, diligence, and development processes.
Essential skills include strong drafting, negotiation, project management, and business judgment, with the ability to manage sophisticated multi-stakeholder transactions.
Requires a Juris Doctor (JD) and active bar admission in Missouri.
Candidates must have excellent academic credentials, law firm experience, and superior writing, communication, and problem-solving skills.
