Overview

Focus on health care regulatory and compliance needs within transactional contexts for clients.
Support complex health care transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
Advise on key health care regulatory issues such as anti-kickback, Stark Law, licensing, enrollment, and reimbursement.
Manage regulatory strategy, risk mitigation, notifications, and filings for transactions.
Conduct legal due diligence, draft reports, and assist with review of purchase agreements and disclosure schedules.
3-5 years of post-JD experience specifically supporting health care transactions, preferably in a law firm setting.
Required detailed knowledge of the health care industry and regulatory landscape, including current impacts on business.
JD and active bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice, along with strong academic credentials and excellent writing, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience in home health, hospice, home care, behavioral health, physician practice management, or hospitals/health systems is a plus.
Position is open to any office location, with a strong preference for St. Louis, Nashville, Denver, Los Angeles, Chicago, or Dallas.
Annual salary range of $240,000 - $420,000, depending on experience, plus a discretionary performance bonus.
