This is a Mid-level Associate position within the Private Equity Mergers & Acquisitions practice. The role is available in Dallas (preferred), Atlanta, Los Angeles, Denver, or San Francisco.
You will need 3-4 years of Private Equity and M&A experience, ideally gained at an AmLaw 100 or 200 firm.
The work involves advising financial sponsors, portfolio companies, founders, and investors on complex transactions across a variety of industries.
Specific experience counseling clients in the healthcare services sector is required, including post-acute care, professional practices, digital health, joint ventures, and emerging healthcare business models.
Essential skills include strong writing, communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with the capacity to manage transactions independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
Familiarity with design thinking, disruptive innovation principles, generative AI, and legal technology integration into deal processes is a significant plus.
Required qualifications include a Juris Doctor (JD), active bar admission in the jurisdiction where you intend to practice, and excellent academic credentials.
The annual salary for this position ranges from $250,000 to $365,000, dependent on experience, with eligibility for a discretionary performance bonus.
