Overview

  • This is a Mid- to Senior-Level Associate position within the Real Estate Group.
  • The ideal locations for this role are Century City or San Francisco, though other Reed Smith office locations will also be considered.
  • Candidates should have at least two years of solid transactional real estate experience.
  • Experience from a large law firm is preferred, but boutique real estate firm experience will also be considered.
  • The primary focus areas include acquisitions and dispositions, real estate development, land use and zoning, and commercial leasing.
  • Familiarity with real estate financing is considered a plus.
  • Essential skills include excellent oral communication, strong research abilities, and effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties.
  • You will be expected to manage small-to-mid sized matters independently or effectively handle portions of larger matters efficiently.
  • A strong ability to collaborate and work effectively within a team is required.
  • The annual salary for this position ranges from $235,000 to $390,000, with actual pay varying based on location and experience.
