Overview

  • Join the Intellectual Property Transactions (IPT) Group as an Associate.
  • Requires 3-5 years of legal experience in intellectual property transactions, technology licensing, or related practice areas.
  • Advise private equity firms, strategic investors, and global market leaders in technology, software, consumer retail, and media sectors.
  • Focus on transactions where intellectual property, technology, data, and brand value are central to deal value.
  • Lead and support complex transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic collaborations, carve-outs, divestitures, and investments.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements, including purchase agreements, IP licenses, assignments, software and cloud services agreements, and trademark arrangements.
  • Counsel clients on IP and technology issues for product launches, digital transformation, e-commerce, advertising, and media deals, including artificial intelligence.
  • Provide guidance on trademark, copyright, patent, and data rights, covering commercialization strategies and risk assessment.
  • Work across diverse sectors like retail, beauty, food & beverage, health & wellness, software, and emerging technologies (AI, digital health, SaaS).
  • Positions are available in Silicon Valley, San Francisco, Boston, or New York.
