Overview

Join Ropes & Gray's Alternative Asset Opportunities practice group.
Advise sovereign wealth funds and large institutional investors on complex global transactions.
Work includes secondary transactions, joint ventures, co-investments, fund investments, and other strategic opportunities.
Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents across diverse asset classes, including private equity, credit, real estate, venture capital, and infrastructure.
Provide counsel on deal structuring, governance arrangements, and global regulatory considerations.
Manage multiple concurrent transactions from term sheet through closing, including preparing limited partnership agreements, subscription documents, and side letters.
Requires a J.D. from an accredited law school and bar admission in a relevant US jurisdiction.
Seeking 2-10 years of transactional or fund experience from a major law firm, with exposure to private equity or fund formation.
Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating complex investment and fund-related agreements is essential.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail are required.
Interest in leveraging AI technology and other emerging legal tools to improve legal work efficiency is valued.
