Overview

  • Associate Attorney position requiring 3-6 years of legal experience.
  • Primary practice focus on Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) matters.
  • Responsibilities include OSHA/MSHA compliance, enforcement, and related litigation, encompassing on-site inspections and agency interactions.
  • Experience with Environmental and Whistleblower defense matters is also required; environmental litigation experience is a plus.
  • Candidates should have increasingly responsible litigation experience, including depositions, discovery, and motion practice.
  • Join a national practice known for extensive trial and appellate litigation against Federal and State OSHA, and defense of workplace whistleblower claims.
  • Position is available in a US office, with Seattle, WA or Chicago being preferred locations.
  • Must be admitted to the State Bar for the chosen home office or be eligible to waive in.
  • Requires excellent academic credentials, strong analytical skills, and superior verbal and written communication abilities.
  • The salary range for the Seattle office is $260,000 to $350,000, plus eligibility for annual merit increases and bonus compensation.
  • Comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and a 401(k).
  • This position operates under a hybrid work arrangement in Seattle, WA.
