Connor Kilgallen joined Vinson & Elkins’s Austin office in the Energy group.

Ed was recommended to me by a friend and assisted me with a lateral move. He is a pleasure to work with. He has all the qualities needed -- responsiveness, knowledge of the market, and the required experience to help inform approach. In addition I found he was really good at remembering details about my sensitivities and concerns. Maybe he is just great at taking notes, but it really gave me confidence in his guidance. I really recommend working with Ed.

Jordan Armstrong joined Orrick’s Houston office in the Energy group.

Andrew provided a bespoke experience in helping me lateral to a new workplace. I was under no pressure to leave my current employer and, as such, I told Andrew that I was only interested in moving to a firm that could provide a laundry list of requirements - including a move to a smaller, popular, insular market. Andrew was honest with me and immediately returned the only option that had potential to provide what I was looking for. We worked together to contact that firm, putting my best foot forward, and it turned out to be an opportunity so good that I was compelled to jump. Andrew led from the front during the entire process, informing me of the necessary steps without wasting my time or attempting to divert me to other opportunities that may have been more of a sure thing for him. The experience was excellent and after hearing a variety of horror stories, I am thankful that I contacted Andrew. I have already recommended Andrew to a few folks in my network and will not hesitate to do so again.

The lateral process can be a stressful process, however, Ren provided guidance throughout all phases of the process, which made the process far less stressful. I strongly recommend Ren to anyone considering a move!
