The role involves advising employers on union organizing drives, conducting vulnerability assessments, and managing strategic communication campaigns.
Responsibilities include handling unfair labor practice proceedings, representation cases, hearings, and related litigation before the NLRB and state labor relations boards.
The associate will handle contract grievances, contract interpretations, and represent management in labor arbitrations.
The position requires experience serving as a spokesperson or strategist in collective bargaining negotiations, drafting contract language, and advising on labor agreements.
Work includes providing rapid-response strategic counseling for labor disputes, corporate restructuring, strikes, picketing, and other workplace crises.
Experience counseling private equity funds, strategic buyers, and corporate clients on labor and employment aspects of M&A, restructurings, and development projects, including labor due diligence, successorship risk assessment, evaluating collective bargaining agreements and multiemployer pension obligations, and drafting labor-related purchase agreement provisions.
The role has an expectation of a minimum of three days in the office per week.
Candidates must possess high academic grades.
