Overview

  • Midlevel Associate position with Sidley Austin in its Century City office.
  • Requires 4-5 years of experience at a law firm.
  • Work within the M&A and Private Equity Group, specifically supporting the Beauty and Wellness practice.
  • Required experience includes M&A, private equity transactions, and advising early- to growth-stage companies on equity and debt financings.
  • Strong preference for candidates with prior experience advising clients in the beauty, personal care, wellness, or consumer products sectors.
  • Responsibilities include managing due diligence and drafting/negotiating transaction documents for M&A, private equity, and equity financing deals.
  • Advise clients on acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, strategic investments, corporate governance, and other commercial transactions.
  • Coordinate with internal legal specialists on regulatory, tax, employment, and intellectual property matters.
  • Target salary range is $250,000 - $415,000, with final compensation dependent on market, skills, experience, and education.
  • Compensation package includes bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits program.
