This position is for a junior lateral attorney in Skadden's Los Angeles Corporate Group.
Candidates should be from the graduating classes of 2025 or 2024.
The role requires expertise in capital markets and securities transactions.
Work covers a full spectrum of equity and debt offerings, including IPOs, follow-on offerings, block trades, "at the market" offerings, investment grade and high-yield debt, convertible debt, and private placements.
Responsibilities extend to complex capital markets matters like tender offers, exchange offers, consent solicitations, rights offerings, spin-offs, recapitalizations, and restructurings.
The role also includes advising on public disclosure and corporate governance.
The firm's California Capital Markets practice is recognized as Band 1 by Chambers USA.
The starting base salary is $225,000 to $235,000 annually.
This position is eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus.
