Overview

Associate position on the firm's Insurance Regulatory and Compliance team, part of the Global Financial Services Practice Group.
Role is available in any of the firm's U.S. offices.
Represent global/national insurance companies, private equity sponsors, healthcare systems, and other enterprises.
Advise on complex insurance regulatory and transactional matters across the industry.
Transactional work includes mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic corporate deals involving insurance entities and related businesses.
Regulatory work encompasses advising on compliance programs, risk mitigation, insurer formation/licensure, market entry, regulatory filings/approvals, and managing agency inquiries/examinations.
Requires 3-5 years of relevant legal experience, a JD from an accredited law school with a strong academic record, and active admission to a U.S. State Bar.
Candidates must possess strong working knowledge of state and federal insurance laws, rules, and regulations, with experience drafting relevant documents (e.g., agreements, filings, opinion letters, policies).
Expect significant client contact and independent work, requiring excellent written/oral communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and sound judgment.
