Litigation Associate for the firm's Cleveland office.
Seeking candidates with 2-6 years of litigation experience. Strong academic records are particularly important for junior candidates.
Active admission to the Ohio Bar is required.
Manage most aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings and motions, conducting legal research, arguing hearings, and handling discovery requests and responses.
Take and defend depositions, and assist with trial preparations and trial.
More experienced candidates should demonstrate a substantial ability to manage commercial lawsuits from start to finish.
Must possess exceptional legal writing, research, and organizational skills, along with strong verbal communication.
Experience in healthcare or managed care litigation is a plus. Prior courtroom and deposition experience is also preferred but not required.
Candidates should be self-starters, able to prioritize workload, exercise good judgment, and work effectively under pressure.
The annual salary range is $222,500-$260,000, dependent on skills and experience.
