Overview

The role is a Litigation Associate within the Cleveland office of Squire Patton Boggs.
Primary practice focus is general commercial litigation.
Seeking candidates with 1-5 years of post-JD experience, which may include judicial clerkships.
Admission to the Ohio Bar is required.
Candidates must possess a JD from an accredited law school and demonstrate a strong academic record.
Key responsibilities include drafting pleadings and motions, conducting legal research, arguing hearings, managing discovery requests and responses, taking and defending depositions, assisting with trial preparations and trial, and coordinating with local counsel.
Essential skills include exceptional legal writing and research abilities, strong verbal communication, and organizational skills.
Courtroom and deposition experience is preferred but not mandatory.
More senior candidates should have substantial experience managing commercial lawsuits from inception to conclusion.
The base salary range for this position is $215,000 - $237,500, dependent on experience and qualifications.
This position operates under a hybrid work model.
