Overview

Litigation Associate position based in Washington D.C.
Requires 2-6 years of litigation experience, ideally from a top-tier firm or with a judicial clerkship.
Must be admitted to the DC Bar.
Candidates need a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and a strong academic record.
Core responsibilities include drafting pleadings and motions, conducting legal research, arguing hearings, managing discovery, taking and defending depositions, and assisting with trial.
Essential skills include exceptional writing, legal research, drafting legal documents, and coordinating discovery.
Prior experience in healthcare or managed care litigation is a plus but not required. Courtroom and deposition experience is preferred.
More senior candidates should have substantial experience managing commercial lawsuits from start to finish.
Self-starters with strong judgment, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize workload and work under pressure are sought.
The annual salary for this role ranges from $235,000 to $315,000, dependent on skills and experience.
