Handles settlement duties, including regular communication with opposing counsel, preparing client settlement recommendations, and drafting agreements.
Court appearances and attendance at arbitration merits hearings may be required.
Preferred qualifications include experience with arbitration matters in JAMS or AAA, defending financial institutions or commercial clients against claims under consumer protection, banking, or privacy laws, and/or experience in bankruptcy court (including adversary proceedings).
