The Stoel Rives Real Estate & Construction team advises a broad range of clients, including real estate owners, developers, contractors, investors, lenders, architects, engineers, and suppliers, on matters such as land use, design, acquisition, disposition, development, financing, risk allocation and insurance assessment, construction, leasing, and sale of commercial, residential, and agricultural properties.
Required experience for the role includes drafting commercial real estate transaction documents (e.g., purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, ancillary agreements) and conducting due diligence (e.g., title and survey review, zoning analysis, consultant coordination).
Experience drafting construction-related documents, such as prime contracts, design-build agreements, subcontracts, construction management agreements, and vendor contracts, is considered a plus.
The role carries an expectation of 1,800 billable hours (up to 50 of which can be pro bono) and an "all-in" hours expectation of 2,050 or 2,150, depending on seniority.
Bonus eligibility requires associates to reach or exceed 1,850 billable hours (including up to 50 pro bono hours) and meet or exceed the "all-in" hours expectation.
