Mid-level Associate position within the Insurance Coverage practice, based in New York.
Role focuses on representing policyholders in complex insurance matters.
Requires 3-5 years of experience from a large law firm's insurance practice group or equivalent in-house role.
Must be admitted to practice in New York and in good standing.
Analyze diverse insurance policies and provide strategic recommendations on renewals and coverage placements.
Represent policyholders in insurance coverage disputes and litigation.
Conduct insurance due diligence for corporate transactions (including M&A), and draft/negotiate insurance and indemnification provisions.
Advise on and review Representations & Warranties (R&W) insurance policies, covering analysis, diligence, and claims.
Collaborate with corporate and litigation teams to advise clients on risk allocation and coverage strategies.
Essential skills include strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication abilities.
Experience with private equity clients is preferred, but not required.
Annual salary range for this associate position is $215,000 - $355,000.
