Overview

  • Mid-level to Senior Litigation Associate position at Venable LLP in Washington, DC.
  • Minimum of four years of experience in complex litigation required.
  • Primary focus on a portfolio of antitrust litigation matters; experience in antitrust or similar complex litigation is strongly preferred.
  • Manage all aspects of complex litigation, including discovery (e-discovery), depositions, expert witness preparation, and motion practice.
  • Experience in multi-party litigation, ideally class actions, is essential.
  • Experience before enforcement agencies (DOJ, FTC, state attorneys general) is a plus.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills are required, along with the ability to manage and mentor junior professionals.
  • Must hold a JD from an accredited law school and be admitted to and in good standing with the D.C. Bar.
  • Preference for candidates with prior experience in a law firm setting.
  • Salary range: $215,000 to $355,000, based on relevant experience, education, skills, and certifications.
