Advise a diverse client base, including borrowers, lenders, and financial institutions, on all aspects of debt finance transactions and financial structuring.
Work on a broad range of financing matters, including syndicated loans, leveraged buyouts, refinancing, structured finance, sponsored finance, acquisition/leveraged finance (borrower or lender side), direct lending, and private credit transactions.
Draft, review, and negotiate key transaction documents such as commitment letters, term sheets, primary loan and security documentation, and other ancillary deliverables.
Manage all phases of debt finance deals, from initial discussions through closing and post-closing matters, including conducting due diligence and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, opposing counsel, and other transactional legal teams, facilitating smooth communication and process management.
Provide ongoing assistance with deal administration, including drafting joinders, amendments, addressing interpretive questions, and managing collateral matters.
Requires at least four years of dedicated debt finance experience, with a strong preference for background in the aforementioned transaction types.
Must be admitted to the bar and in good standing.
Possess strong communication, drafting, project management, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively under pressure.
The role reports directly to a Partner.
The compensation range for this position in New York is $225,000 to $260,000 annually; salaries in other markets will vary.
