Seeking mid-level and senior associates for a Debt Finance practice within the Americas Banking group.
Advise borrowers, lenders, and financial institutions on domestic and cross-border debt finance matters.
Work includes syndicated loans, leveraged buyouts, refinancing, structured finance, sponsored finance, acquisition/leveraged finance (borrower or lender side), direct lending, and private credit transactions.
Primary responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex loan and security documentation, and managing deal processes from initial discussions through closing.
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and opposing counsel, managing due diligence, and handling ongoing deal administration, amendments, and collateral matters.
Requires a minimum of four years of substantive debt finance experience.
Key qualifications include a strong academic record, bar admission in good standing, excellent drafting and project management skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
Mentor and train junior team members, and engage in continuing legal education and client development initiatives.
Work collaboratively with finance partners and teams across global offices on diverse multi-jurisdictional transactions.
Salary range is $310,000 - $420,000, with performance bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and parental leave.
