Overview

Join a Commercial Litigation practice focused on high-stakes business disputes across diverse industries.
Handle a broad range of litigation matters, including contract disputes, class actions, business torts, shareholder/partnership disputes, antitrust, and intellectual property.
Manage all phases of litigation, from pre-litigation counseling to trial and appellate proceedings.
Develop and implement global litigation strategies, draft substantive pleadings for matters such as data protection, defamation, IP infringement, and consumer protection, and oversee local counsel.
Guide clients through international regulatory investigations, including those by data protection and consumer protection authorities, and draft written submissions.
Advise on risk assessments for new products, policies, and business structures, as well as the impact of proposed legislation and regulations worldwide.
Analyze unlawful social media posts and moderation practices, and research global laws affecting social media companies (e.g., intermediary liability, hate speech).
Requires 2-4 years of litigation experience from a law firm, a Juris Doctor or equivalent degree, and current bar admission in good standing.
Essential skills include outstanding oral and written communication, strong drafting ability with an eye for accuracy, capacity to synthesize legal advice for non-legal stakeholders, and effective time management.
Foreign language proficiency (e.g., German, French, Italian, Hebrew) is a plus.
This Associate role reports to a Partner.
The salary range for the Los Angeles market is $310,000 - $390,000; compensation in other markets will vary.
