Candidates require substantial experience in renewable energy tax credit transactions or similar tax-advantaged investment structures.
The role involves representing investors, lenders, developers, sponsors, syndicators, or fund participants in tax-advantaged investment structures.
Work includes reviewing and drafting organizational documents, financing agreements, development agreements, partnership agreements, equity capital contribution agreements, and other tax credit-related transaction documents.
Key responsibilities encompass drafting and negotiating transaction documents, conducting due diligence, coordinating closings, and managing transaction workstreams.
Preferred experience includes renewable energy project finance, tax credit transferability transactions, renewable energy incentive structures, and tax equity investments, such as partnership-flip structures.
Associates gain experience across the full lifecycle of community development and project finance transactions, working directly with partners and clients on sophisticated, market-leading matters.
