Greenberg Traurig’s Tax Controversy and Litigation Group advises U.S. and international clients, including individuals, corporations, and government entities, in all phases of federal, state, and local tax disputes.
The group represents clients before the IRS, the Treasury, the U.S. Congress, state tax tribunals, administrative agencies, and in court; many team members have prior experience with the Department of Justice (Tax Division), IRS Chief Counsel, and the Treasury.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical tax experience, preferably from a law firm or federal government tax role, specifically dealing with large, complicated IRS disputes and litigation involving partnerships, estates, corporations, multinationals, and high net worth individuals.
Superior knowledge and understanding of IRS practice and procedure, along with prior IRS Chief Counsel experience, are a plus.
Candidates must have an LL.M in tax.
The position requires a willingness to work in the office.
