Overview

Position: Associate in the Commercial Disputes practice, located in Seattle.
Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of litigation experience is required; a focus on commercial litigation is preferred.
Qualifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active admission to the Washington State Bar in good standing.
Core Responsibilities: Manage complex litigation matters independently from inception to resolution, including legal research and drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.
Courtroom Advocacy: Prepare and argue motions and briefs before state and federal courts; participate in trial teams.
Client & Strategy: Develop and implement case strategies, communicate effectively with clients, and negotiate settlements.
Key Skills: Strong legal writing, analytical, strategic thinking, advocacy, organizational, and time management abilities.
Work Style: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred: Experience with electronic discovery and litigation support tools.
Mentorship: Opportunities for active mentoring, increasing responsibility, and direct client contact will be provided.
Compensation: Base annual salary ranges from $220,000 - $290,000, with eligibility for additional bonuses.
