Overview

Seeking a Corporate Associate with 3+ years of strategic M&A and private equity experience, ideally gained at a national or international law firm.
The position is based in either San Diego or San Francisco.
The practice focuses on private equity and strategic M&A transactions.
Required experience includes acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, and specific private equity transaction types such as sponsor-side acquisitions, growth investments, portfolio company matters, and exit transactions.
The role involves direct client and partner interaction, offering significant responsibility within smaller, partner-led deal teams.
Candidates should be capable of providing efficient legal service both independently and collaboratively.
This is an on-track partnership position, requiring dedication to professional development.
Required qualifications include a JD/LLM from an ABA-accredited law school, admission or eligibility for the California Bar, strong academic credentials, excellent critical reasoning, and effective communication skills.
The base salary range is $260,000 - $310,000, with bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits.
