Key responsibilities include drafting and prosecuting patent applications, managing patent portfolios, coordinating foreign prosecution, and responding to office actions.
Conduct patent landscape and freedom-to-operate searches, and assist with IP due diligence for investments, IPOs, and other capital markets transactions.
Requires a Ph.D. in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related biological science field. Bioinformatics, data science, and machine learning backgrounds are a plus.
Active admission to the USPTO is required.
At least three years of patent prosecution experience is preferred.
Must have the ability to draft patent applications from invention disclosures with minimal supervision, present complex scientific concepts, and manage competing responsibilities effectively.
The firm requires working from the office approximately 60% of the time.
Compensation includes a salary range of $150,000 - $250,000, bonus eligibility, and a comprehensive benefits package.
